Skillshare is an online learning community for creators. Anyone can take an online class, watch video lessons, create projects, and even teach a class themselves.
Unlike traditional study, online classes at Skillshare are taught by industry experts and focus on learning by doing. The courses, which are not accredited, accept anyone who wants to learn. The majority of courses focus more on interaction than lecturing, with the primary goal of learning by completing a project. As a teacher, once you have 25+ students enrolled in a single class, you are automatically enrolled in their Partner Program, and eligible to earn. Teachers earn 50% of the premium enrollment revenue - within that royalty pool, teacher payments are awarded in direct proportion to the number of monthly Premium enrollments and student projects created in each teacher’s class(es).
In addition to royalty payments, teachers are able to earn $10 for every Premium Membership you refer to Skillshare.
